I launched the Data Centre as a Service (DCaaS) Multi-Use List (MUL) last week. Since the launch, I’ve received emails from companies wanting to join. As I said at the launch, the DCaaS MUL will be continually updated to reflect changes in the suppliers, services and pricing available to Agencies.

We’ve been delighted with the discussion following my previous posting on the Data Centre as a Service (DCaaS) initiative. We have reviewed all the contributions and used many of them to improve the Sourcing Approach and Head Agreement. The revised documents are below. I have also included a summary of the questions and responses on the Head Agreement.
The Department of Finance and Deregulation has signed the first lease through the whole of government Data Centre Facilities Panel (Panel). The lease is with Canberra Data Centres in Hume, and is valued at $45.6 million over the 10 year term of the lease.
