Government 2.0 Register

In 2011, AGIMO began compiling lists of the social media activities undertaken by Australian Government agencies. These lists were based on AGIMO’s own research, existing resources (e.g. the Twitter feed list from the eGov AU blog) and contributions from the public made via editable Google Docs versions of each list.

These lists have now found a permanent home on australia.gov.au, where they will be maintained by the australia.gov.au content managers. Public contributions to the lists are still welcome – contact information can be found at the bottom of each list.
